Sisters

I realized yesterday that I had like, NO pictures of Amelia and Katherine together. Which is weird, because they have a very close relationship. They grew up together, were raised under the same roof for over ten years(at Wellstop Hill), and became as close as sisters. In fact, despite the fact that they know, and halve always known, that they aren't technically sisters, they introduce themselves as sisters, much to the surprise of many people. They also go by the same last name a lot of the time (Bishop, in case anyone was wondering which last name I meant) This is them when they're fairly young. Katherine's just starting to develop, which happened when she was 11, which means Amelia would be almost 10.

They both become part of what is called the "Bishop Clan" when they are young (Amelia after being kidnapped and told her family is dead, and Katherine after running away from home) This clan basically includes anyone Tyl (who goes by the name Rowe Bishop as an alias) allows into it. Rowe Bishop, his son Lachlan Bishop, Genevieve Bishop, Amelia Bishop and Katherine Bishop are those known to Katherine and Amelia. Alexander is told that he's a part of the Bishop clan by Amelia, who takes it upon herself to claim him as one in Rowe's absence, though Alexander never goes by the name. Oliver is also told he is a member of the clan by Rowe himself, but Oliver declines because of the unease Rowe gave him. Another unlikely member is William Bishop, who is an Aitairan hare that Amelia and Katherine are given as a pet by Rowe, then is later given to Oliver to try and get the boy to warm up to Rowe. William is set free by Oliver when he leaves Welstop, but he's a smart hare and followed Oliver. (yup, I have an animal character, and oh, how I love him~) The heightened intelligence is actually an Aitairan trait. While the simple act of being Aitairan doesn't lend any actual academic advantages, the longer life span allows for a lot of learning, and this is most noticeable in animals.
