Daylin Grire

The first thing I've drawn on my tablet for a while! I just got the strangest urge to redesign Daylin today, so I went with it. I only got rid of the braid and changed the eye shape a bit but MAN does he ever look different O__O

Oh, and Silvaeyan ears keep changing on me too. They use to be so much more profound and noticeable but lately I find I've been downplaying them. Ah, how things morph when they sit in my brain too long. Anywho, enough with my pointless babble, now I'll tell you a bit about Daylin.

Name: Daylin Amiel Grire (Amiel is after Amelia)
Gender: Male
Race: Silvaeyan
Birthday: April 11

Daylin has a fairly cheerful disposition, not fond of causing conflict or speaking out of turn. He's good with other children, but in the absolute chaos of a rowdy group he stresses and often hides.

He was (obviously) adopted by Rahwyn and Oliver when he was just a newborn, having been left at an orphanage in Myriv. It is believed that his mother simply couldn't afford to care for the child and thought he'd be better off somewhere else. This has always been fairly common for Myriv's massive population, where high taxes leave many too poor to live there yet too poor to leave. No secrets were ever kept as to where he came from (he'd be foolish not to notice that Oliver and Rahwyn aren't his biological parents) but he never goes through the "you're not my real parents" phase that some children do. He calls Rahwyn "Father" and Oliver "Pataire"(Aitairan for father), though when he was younger he made the mistake of calling each of them Mama at one point or the other, since he heard other children calling their mothers by it and he wasn't sure why he didn't have one.
