For any of you who are interested in getting to know the characters of Lasreil better, I've decided to start a collection of character quotes. Hopefully they'll be helpful in showing their personality, or at least how they present themselves to others!

Lately I've been getting these really annoying advertisements that show up ON pictures. This is the first time I've ever seen this and it's EVERYWHERE; including Deviantart. Is anyone else getting this? Does anyone know how to block them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Lastly, you may have noticed a lot about something called "Lasreil" in my gallery. Lasreil is a story that has been developing in my mind, in some form or another, for a very long time. It, and the colourful characters that live in it, are my babies~

Lasran- Someone from Lasreil.

Sol- A small but populous island-country to Lasreil's south, in the waters between Lasreil and Casilya. Sol has great superiority over the seas and a military to be feared, but it's small size and large population has lead to a shortage in resources. As a result, Sol has allied itself with both Lasreil and Casilya, larger countries with smaller populations and vast resources. This alliance between the three countries has benefited all. Lasreil and Casilya make money off their exports and are provided with Sol's protection from foreign attacks, and Sol has enough resources to sustain its people.

Casilya- A coastal country to Lasreil's south. It has a small population and is extremely vulnerable to attacks from the sea, which is why Sol has taken the country under it's wing. Casilya has rich soil and has carved out a place for itself exporting produce. Casilya and Lasreil are allied with each other and have supported each other in times of crisis.

Escas- A populous country to Lasreil's north. Sharing a border and being in close contact with each other, Escas and Lasreil share many roots, but over the years the border between them as become more and more hostile, and the arguments over it's exact location have become violent. Escas's people have become bitter and resentful of Byzavir, which has forcefully controlled the country for nearly a century.

Maieson- A race of people who originated on the eastern coast of Escas and Lasreil, and in the Southern country of Casilya. Can also refer to the language that originated with them, which is spoken frequently in Escas and Lasreil alike.

Silvaeyan- A race of people that developed to Lasreil's west, down towards Casilya and on the island-country of Sol. Their environment caused the development of differently-shaped ears which can be moved easily to catch sounds. They are one of the two most populous races in Lasreil. Can also refer to the language that originated in the area, which is spoken commonly in western Lasreil, and all throughout Sol and Casilya.

Corroh- A race of people that developed in the north. Common traits among them are thick dark hair, slightly tanned skin and sharper molars as a result of the amount of meat in their ancestors diets. They make up the majority of the population in Escas and the Byzavir Empire to Lasreil's North and North-east, but only a small portion of Lasreil's population.

Naretium- A language which originated in the north. It is most commonly spoken in Escas, the Byzavir Empire, and in parts of Lasreil.

Aitairan- An Aitairan is a Necromantic being created when a stray soul attaches itself to someone who is close to death but not yet gone. This act saves the person from death while giving them some properties of a Nadae. In essence an Aitairan is still alive, but walking the fence that separates them from death. If the soul that saved them is ever somehow detached they would die almost instantly, something which is quite painful but thankfully difficult for a necromancer to achieve.

Nadae- The Nadae are truly the living dead, created when a stray soul takes control of a recently dead body. Once created, a Nadae keeps itself by taking life from other beings in the form of drinking it’s blood until it dies. It should be noted that the blood itself is not what truly affects the Nadae, in fact it is the act of being within extremely close quarters of a dying creature and it’s escaping soul, but Nadae crave blood nonetheless as an instinctive way of ensuring survival.

Puppetts- The term for weak willed Nadae who are under the complete control of a necromancer. They cannot think for themselves, and blindly follow what their necromancer demands of them. The term is also used when referring to Nadae who form from long-dead bodies and usually stumble around in graveyards. Outbreaks of these nadae occur most frequently.

Woken- When a soul takes over a dead body, thereby becoming a Nadae, it has been Woken.

Wakeling- This is a term for a new Nadae who has just taken it’s first body. They are generally far less able to control their urges than older Nadae.

Warrior- These Aitairans have the innate ability to compel stray souls to briefly posses objects, giving them the ability to control said object and thus manipulate the physical world around them.

Necromancer- This type of Aitairan has a strong connection with souls, and have the ability to create necromantic beings. In essence, Necromancers can create Nadae and other Aitairans through the direction of stray souls to suitable bodies, as well as communicate with and feel stray souls they encounter. But Necromancers can do more than create. If a living creature is teetering on the edge of death, it's soul still clutching to it's body, a Necromancer can sever the bond and put the creature out of its misery. Nadae and other undead beings feel compelled to obey a necromancer once it has a hold over them.

Teyo- Any Aitairan who falls somewhere between the traits of a Warrior and a Necromancer is considered to be a “Teyo”, which means “in-between” or “moderate” in Naretium. A necromancer that can throw stones when angered; a warrior that’s irked by the presence of stray souls; or possibly someone who has truly mastered the ability to possess objects and control the undead.
